The Best And Worst Performing Posts of 2025

– Posted in: Productivity

Here’s a shot of the old town in Pamplona, Spain. No special event, it was just that crowded! Despite the crowds, this trip is a highlight for me for both 2025 and 2026, since my stay spans both years😊

What’s in your highlight reel?

Speaking of highlights, I compiled my stats on best to worst Forbes posts for 2025.

My best performing post raked in 141,197 views. The worst performer got just 58. The median for all posts was just under 1,500 views, so the best performer got almost 100 times the typical views!

If you want to read the best and worst posts for yourself, you can search for them in my Forbes column HERE.

I love writing about movies, but those posts don’t do well (not just from 2025, but past years too sadly). On the flip side, I didn’t even like the best performer much myself. If it weren’t for the metrics, my own preferences would steer me away from what my readers actually want.

What are your metrics?

Depending on your goals for 2026 (writing more is one of mine), check objective metrics on how you’re doing. Are you getting results? Are you spending time on what matters? Do you need to course-correct?

Where do you need support?

What should I write about in 2026? Based on what I’m seeing in this uncertain job market, I’m planning to write more about how to build a solid foundation that is independent of your current, day-to-day career (e.g., FIRE, entrepreneurship, career resilience). The stronger your foundation, the more competitive you’ll be.

But that’s just my working hypothesis — I’d love to answer YOUR specific questions. Let me know in my CONTACT page!
