Are you spending time on what matters most?

– Posted in: Productivity

Today I spent almost an hour walking on the beach, as I did the day before and will do the next two days. I live in Northeast Florida, and it’s low tide and low humidity these days. I’m taking full advantage of the perfect conditions to get my 10k steps at the beach, my happiest place.

The picture in this post is not Florida, however, but Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I’ll be spending two weeks there — also on the beach! — in May.

Luckily, my work is virtual and part-time so I can manage my time to accommodate my favorite activities.

But I still have to manage my time – low tides are in my calendar, travel to Costa Rica is booked months in advance.

How about you?

In my latest Forbes, I break down how to Improve Your Time Management Skills In 3 Steps.

How-to details are in the post, but the 3 steps overall are:

  1. Identify the skills that fall under time management so you have clear targets to aim for
  2. Stay committed to better time management by having a strong Why behind what you’re doing
  3. Work each and every day to build your time management skills, emphasizing the ones you already have and developing the ones that need help

Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.– Mark Twain

P.S. My exact dates in Tamarindo, Costa Rica are May 11-24. Want to do a live VIP Coaching Day with me in a vibrant town with picture-perfect sunsets? Contact me for details if you’re interested.
