Are you back in work mode and energized for the upcoming year?
If one of your goals for the upcoming year is pivoting into a career that would make you happier, a new survey shows that a majority of workers (66%) believe a career change would increase their happiness, BUT only a fraction (13%) have made a change.
Financial concerns are the dominant reasons – 35% worry about taking a pay cut, and 34% worry about financial instability. Interestingly, finances are also the dominant motivation – 57% of aspiring career changers are lured by the potential for higher pay and benefits.
