Featuring guest expert Marcy McGinnis

Media training isn’t just about how to “perform” in an interview (though it does include that important skill). Caroline talks to former CBS executive and media veteran, Marcy McGinnis, about how media training gives executives and entrepreneurs an edge and helps with day-to-day professional development.

Marcy McGinnis rose from entry-level to the #2 position over 35 years at CBS News. She was in charge of some of the biggest stories of our time (e.g., 9/11). McGinnis was the founding associate dean at Stony Brook University's School of Journalism, training and mentoring hundreds of future journalists. Currently, McGinnis is a career and leadership coach and co-founder of EXACT Communication.
